After a long day working at the dealership, it's nice for us here at Porsche of Monterey to kick back and relax once we get back to the homestead. Not to say that these new and used cars are running us ragged, that couldn't be farther from the truth, it's more a matter of having the time to enjoy some of life's simpler pleasures. And if there's one simple pleasure that just keeps on giving, it's coming home to watch Seinfeld reruns.

We know, it's been a while since "the show about nothing" was the king of primetime, but much like the fabulous models on our lineup, some things just never go out of style. So when we recently saw Jerry get behind the wheel of a 1973 Porsche 911 Carrera RS 2.7 as part of his new web series Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee, it was like the stars had finally aligned.

In case this is your first time hearing of it, the concept of the web series is exactly what it sounds like. Jerry Seinfeld calls up a fellow comedian, they get in a car and they head out for coffee to talk about comedy. As for why Jerry chose his "no-nonsense" Porsche for the occasion, he believed it complemented the personality of his guest, Saturday Night Live's own Seth Meyers. News to us, but Meyers certainly wasn't complaining.

During their time together, they wax poetic on everything from Meyers' tenure at SNL to Seinfeld's own experiences getting started in the industry. And since they do have a sports car at their disposal, they naturally finish things off with a bit of joyriding on the highway.

So if you'd like to see the episode for yourself, then head on over to YouTube this instant. But if you'd rather do as Jerry does, the 2013 Porsche 911 awaits you at our dealership here in Seaside, CA.
