Porsche vehicles are engineered for exceptional performance, and regular maintenance is essential to keep your Porsche running at its best. The Porsche Scheduled Maintenance Plan (PSMP) is a prepaid service plan designed to ensure your vehicle receives the necessary maintenance at the right intervals. Porsche Monterey is proud to be a participating Porsche center in Seaside, CA. We offer the PSMP and our service center can perform scheduled maintenance. Let's explore the benefits of this plan and what it covers.

Benefits of a Prepaid Service Plan

By opting for a PSMP, you can lock in today's rates for the duration of your chosen plan. This protects you against potential price increases in the future. Additionally, all services under the PSMP are performed by factory-trained Porsche technicians using genuine Porsche parts, ensuring your vehicle receives the highest quality care.

Another advantage of the PSMP is the convenience it offers. You can have your Porsche serviced at any participating Porsche Center throughout the United States, making it easy to keep up with maintenance even when you're traveling.

Included Services

The PSMP covers an extensive list of maintenance items, depending on your specific plan. These services include:

  • Oil service: This involves changing the engine oil and oil filter, ensuring your engine is properly lubricated and running efficiently.
  • Brake fluid replacement: Over time, brake fluid can absorb moisture, which can lead to decreased braking performance. Regular brake fluid replacement helps maintain optimal braking performance.
  • Cabin air filter replacement: The cabin air filter helps keep the air inside your vehicle clean and free of allergens. Replacing this filter at recommended intervals ensures you and your passengers breathe clean air.
  • Spark plug replacement: Spark plugs are essential for proper engine combustion. Replacing them at the recommended intervals helps maintain optimal engine performance and fuel efficiency.
  • Engine air filter replacement: The engine air filter keeps dirt and debris from entering your engine. Replacing this filter regularly helps protect your engine and maintain its performance.
  • General maintenance and inspections: The PSMP also includes various inspections and general maintenance tasks, such as tire condition and pressure inspection, checking fluid levels, examining belts and hoses, and inspecting the brakes and suspension components. These inspections help identify potential issues before they become more serious problems.

Exceptions and Exclusions

While the PSMP covers a wide range of maintenance items, there are some exceptions and exclusions to be aware of. Items that are not specified in your vehicle's maintenance booklet or those resulting from wear and tear are not covered under the plan. These may include:

  • Brake pads and rotors: As brake pads and rotors wear down over time, they will eventually need to be replaced. These wear and tear items are not covered under the PSMP.
  • Tires: Tires are subject to wear and tear based on driving habits, road conditions, and other factors. Tire replacements are not included in the PSMP.

It's essential to review your specific plan and consult with your Porsche Center for a complete understanding of what is and is not covered under your PSMP.
