For those of you who've been following our blog as of late, you're probably aware that July was awfully kind to us here at Porsche of Monterey. Not only was it further confirmation of the industry-leading reliability that's always come standard on our lineup, but the sales numbers were pretty impressive, too. How impressive, you ask? Well, allow us to elaborate.
Last month, our favorite automaker went and sold 3,820 vehicles in the US, marking a 36% increase over their US sales numbers in July of 2012. Not only does that bump up their year-to-date US sales to 25,129 units, but that also makes for an increase of 31% over the sales in the first seven months of 2012.
Needless to say, things are just turning up Porsche these days.
"In addition to enjoying a successful sales month, we were also recently recognized as the top brand in the annual J.D. Power APEAL Study - for the ninth consecutive year," says Detlev von Platen, President and CEO of Porsche Cars North America, Inc. "This provides a compelling message as we plan for bringing the new [Porsche Panamera] line, including our first plug-in hybrid, to the US market this fall."1
Like Mr. Von Platen says, there are big things in store for our lineup here in Seaside, CA, and if you'd like to see for yourself why America can't get enough of these beauties, your test drive awaits you at our dealership. After all, numbers like these don't lie.
