If the findings from this year's APEAL Study were any indication, satisfaction most certainly comes standard when you're shopping with our favorite automaker here at Porsche of Monterey. What can we say, when you're behind the wheel of a lineup like ours, the urge to drive just never fades. And while we're admittedly biased to begin with, we're humbled to have our friends at Motor Trend backing us up on the matter.
Just recently, the automotive experts at Motor Trend went and announced their Best Driver's Car for 2013. For those unfamiliar, the annual event is a celebration of the model-year vehicle that the Motor Trend editors enjoy driving more than anything else on the market. Each vehicle that met their high standards was thoroughly evaluated through a series of performance tests that culminated in a 500-mile road trip through canyon roads and closed courses.
Last year, the Porsche 911 Carrera S drove away with the top honor. This year, that same honor went to none other than the Porsche 911 Carrera 4S. As for why they were so very fond of it, we'll let them do the explaining.
"The 911 Carrera 4S has terrific balance, telepathic steering, a potent engine, and a lightning quick transmission," says Ed Loh, Editor-in-Chief of Motor Trend. "But what impressed our judges the most was the confidence and joy it delivered, on the street and at the track."1
With that said, there's never been a better time to take the 2013 Porsche 911 for a test drive at our dealership here in Seaside, CA. After all, praise like this must count for something.
