German automaker Porsche likes to take its time when developing its new vehicles, and we don't blame them. Each new Porsche auto on our Seaside, CA lot has benefited from the extra fermenting time. On the anticipation end of things, however, it definitely leaves us chomping at the bit, especially when it comes to the automaker's upcoming crossover.

Fortunately for us, the Macan isn't too far off, as can be seen from a recent video series Porsche put out showing the vehicle testing in a variety of environments. The most recent depicted the Macan testing in several different road conditions in California, making us believe it will indeed be released in the U.S.

The video shows not one, but several Macans testing. The coolest part, we thought, was seeing the cars kicking up quite a bit of dust out in the Californian desert during their test drive. You can check out the video below, if you feel so inclined.

According to Porsche, the Macan will arrive at dealerships with an accessible price tag of around $45,000, and the premium and performance components we've come to expect from the automaker. That includes the tried-and-true platform of the Audi Q5, an air suspension system with electronic damping control, and a controlled differential lock on the rear axle.

Of course, there's much more to learn. Contact us here at Porsche of Monterey for any information you desire on this upcoming crossover.

If larger performance autos aren’t your thing, we still have plenty of vehicles at our showroom that will get your blood rushing. Stop by our showroom and see what catches your eye.
