The Porsche Panamera Turbo S has become renowned as the proverbial falcon of the automaker's lineup for its precision, speed, and distribution of power. In many ways, it's hard to imagine this car getting any better than it already is. But it has.

The 2014 Panamera Turbo S is set to make its debut at the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show later in November, and from what we've heard, you better hold onto your teeth.

Although previous iterations of the Panamera Turbo S have featured its nimble and minimalist look, the car is set to really pack on the muscle for the upcoming model year. The new model will have more weight, and quite a bit more technology.

It all starts out with a roomier cabin, with seating for four. Options you'll find on the baseline 2014 Panamera will be standard here, such as the Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes, Porsche Active Suspension Management, and the Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus system. The automaker has also taken upon itself to ramp up the safety aspects, giving drivers the sense of security one would expect from being at the top of the automotive food chain.

And where else would the new Panamera Turbo S be when it's packing a 570 horsepower V8 engine with 533 lb.-ft of twist? Of course, if you'd like an even more aggressive feel, an "overboost" function is available to ramp up the ponies to 590, giving you a sprint time of 3.6 seconds.

Salivating to get your hands on this new model yet? You won't have too long to wait.

The new Porsche Panamera line arrives at Porsche of Monterey this coming January. If you have any immediate questions, such as pricing and additional features, utilize the live chat on our website, or drop by our Seaside, CA showroom.
