The announcement from Porsche came on the heels of the unveiling of the most powerful Porsche Panamera hybrid yet - the Porsche Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid. The Turbo S E-Hyrbid is a plug-in hybrid that houses an electric motor with a 30-mile electric powered range, combined with a 550-horsepower 4.0-liter turbocharged V-8 engine.
Executives at Porsche predict their electrified lineup, which already includes the Porsche Cayenne E-Hybrid S and the Porsche Panamera E-Hybrid S will do especially well here in California, where drivers appreciate a high end car and green driving.
