Many may know that Porsche is looking to increase its efforts to have emission reductions from the process of building a vehicle, to the luxury performance sports cars themselves. As the automaker moves forward with production of its vehicles, it is demanding that its supplies are also committed to renewable energy so the supply chain is efficient, and reducing CO2.

Porsche uses the S-Rating for sustainable suppliers and those that don't meet the standards, don't do business with Porsche. There's a number of high-quality suppliers who share the goals and are committed to helping end CO2 emissions, and you can be sure that the Porsche vehicles from assembly to the showroom won't suffer and still offer the highest levels of performance out there. It's a good thing to see an automaker committed to decarbonization through the build of its sports cars, and it can make you feel good purchasing or leasing a new Porsche.
